Storytelling 202: Blending the Personal with the Professional!

Storytelling is widely celebrated as the most powerful communication tool out there, but how much of our personal lives is okay to share in professional settings?!?

Hi, Anna Darian here. I created this interactive workshop for professionals who want to learn how to leverage the power of their story, whether you're an entrepreneur pitching your business or an employee who does a lot of public speaking as part of your work.

This workshop will be limited to 6 people, so you will get lots of time to practice and receive individual feedback and coaching.

Takeaways:

  • Understand how to leverage storytelling as a strategic tool for professional communication

  • Learn a simple structure to craft your story

  • Connect with new friends and practice your public speaking skills in front of a "warm audience"

BONUS: Add a 90-minute private coaching session with me to get individual feedback and refine your story for $95 (normally $250).

Please come prepared with a real-life professional setting (even if it's just a networking meeting) where you want to incorporate a personal story.

Schedule:

  • 3:00-3:15 Registration

  • 3:15-6:00 Interactive workshop

  • 6:00-8:00 optional happy hour at Ocotillo Restaurant

Light refreshments will be provided.

Please join us after the workshop for an optional happy hour from 6:00-8:00 pm at Ocotillo Restaurant where you can ask me anything and continue to share stories with your new friends. (first round of drinks on me!)

You must RSVP in advance via EventBrite to attend. Ticket sales will close April 12th at midnight (no sales at the door).

With love,

Anna Darian
